All the details you need from registration to booster vaccination, based on personal experience.
Common Questions:
Where is NPF Drive-Thru? —It’s the tented site near Solaire and Okada. You can pin the exact name on Waze.
Is it also open to non-Parañaque citizens? — Yes, it is. I am from Cavite and I drove all the way to the site just to get my booster.
Do they accept walk-ins? — No. The first thing that they’ll ask once you enter is your QR code which you can only have when you registered.
What vaccine brand do they have? – Moderna.
Here’s how to register.
- Access this site. Make sure you have your vaccination card with you since the details that you’ll need to answer this form will come from your vaccination card. (It’s important to make sure all details are correct. I got my birthday wrong so the frontliner had to correct it which delayed our move for a few minutes.)
- Wait for a text confirmation from eZConsult. I got mine a week after I registered. Some got theirs 2 days after but I guess it’s longer now due to high volume of requests. Hours later, I also got my booster schedule which is set just a day after I received confirmation from eZConsult. You’ll also receive an email with your assigned QR code. MAKE SURE TO DOWNLOAD THIS SINCE THE SITE HAS ZERO TO ONE BAR SIGNAL.
Now that you are registered, here’s how to navigate on the day of your booster schedule:
Things to bring: Government ID, Vaccination Card, black pen, and water.
Optional: Snacks, Paracetamol
TIP: Be there early. We arrived 3 hours ahead of our morning schedule. They don’t check your actual time slot but make sure you’re there on the same date as stated in their text message. The photo below shows the long line leading to the entrance of NPF Drive-Thru site. It took us approximately 1 hour before we arrived at the entrance or pre-registration area.
Step-by-step guide to your booster success:
Step 1: Pre-registration
Have your vaccination card, valid ID, and QR Code ready for screening. Upon confirmation, the usher will give you two forms to submit on the next step.
Step 2: Registration Lane
Fill up the forms and submit to the uniformed personnel. They will go from one car to another to collect the forms in advance with your vaccination cards. They will return the cards when it’s your turn to have the booster shot which is on Step 3.
Step 3: Vaccination Lane
Go straight to the vaccination lane. There are some officers who will help manage the lanes. There were 6 active lanes during out slot so the waiting time was bearable. You also have time to go to the restroom but the queue is a bit long. Please manage your expectations since these are public restrooms.
This is the view of our booster spot. In this photo we are just one car away from our turn.
We’re three in the car but it only took us less than 10 minutes to get our booster shots. :)
Step 4: Observation Lane
The nurse will then instruct you to stay in the parking area which is just in front of the booster lane before the exit. We stayed for 5 minutes, as instructed. Note that you are free to go after 5 minutes. No need for any clearance.
TIP: Shortly after we got our booster shots, we drank paracetamol so we can manage any side effects.
After the process, you’ll receive a text and an email with your vaccination certificate. The whole process took us 2 hours but it depends on your time of arrival and number of lanes open during your time slot. :)
There you go. I hope this helps! Feel free to share! Stay healthy!
